Security Built In
Our Patented Tabbed Inlet Design eliminates the need to weld your tip on. Our design increases the difficulty and time it would take for a thief to remove your tip. With 4 bolts to remove instead of 1 that is probably not on very tight, this makes it harder to steal but also a much better way to install an exhaust tip.

The Tabbed Inlet is designed to not create a seal between the tip and exhaust pipe. This is to allow cool air to mix with the exhaust as you’re driving to remove excess heat from the exhaust tip. This ensures the finish will remain in near perfect condition for years to come. (Proper maintenance is required)

About Us!
My name is Ben Mottern, some like to call me Mr. Tristar, and I started TSO at 17 years old in a high school welding class. To be 100% honest, I sold the first exhaust tip before the semester started, so you could say I had to learn how to weld pretty darn quick.
The next summer, I went off to fulfill my dream of playing college baseball. While at college, I had a 12'x7' trailer parked outside of my apartment that I used to work in after practices. Just across the parking lot was my dad's flat bed trailer. I had rigged his trailer into sheet metal brake that I used to bend the tips and stacks into the octagon shape that we are known for now.
It wasn't long before my dream of playing college baseball came to an end. At the end of my first semester, I decided to quit baseball, transfer and move back home to allocate more time to the growing business.
When I came back home, I needed more space, so I moved into the 15'x10' shed beside my parent's house. By this time, I was building around 15 to 20 tips and stacks per month, which at the time, was crazy!
Fast forward 3 years to today and things have changed... alot. We have gone from 15-20 tips per month to 20+ tips per day! With the increased volume, we have remained true to putting quality and customization first. We take pride in providing the highest quality exhaust tips to truck enthusiasts with the highest degrees of customization. Each tip has continued to be TIG welded by hand, inspected multiple times for quality control and powder coated by none other than the best in the business, Victor at Black Label Coatings, as if it were Day 1. And we intend to keep it that way.
